Flashcards
Whether it's memorizing vocabulary for a foreign language, mathematical formulas or events in history, flashcards are the way to go. They're easy to make - you just cut out pieces of paper or use notecards, write a simple phrase on the front and what it means on the back, and you're ready to start memorizing. You can test yourself or have someone else test you, and it's easy to separate which ones you know well and which ones you need more time with to study.
